Here at Generation Church, we believe that we are better together! In fact, being connected relationally and growing spiritually go hand in hand. See, God created us for community and never intended for any of us to do life alone. 

With everything going on in our world right now with Covid and social distancing and having to isolate ourselves, being in community with other Christ followers is more important than ever. 

So as we head into this new year, we want to give you an opportunity to get connected into a Community Group! And listen, we get it. There is so much uncertainty about the future right now, making long-term commitments can be scary. That's why all of our Community Groups will only be an 8-12 week commitment during this season, depending on which study you sign up for. Whether you are looking for a group in-person or online, we have several options for you to choose from so that you can get connected into community.

DNA Groups are gender-specific groups of 3-4 followers of Jesus who gather on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for the purpose of accelerated spiritual growth.

DNAs are an extremely powerful way to grow spiritually in close proximity with a few spiritual friends who know your story, are aware of your struggles, and are committed to looking at God’s Word together for ongoing transformation.

DNA is an acronym that reminds us of 3 key components of Discipleship:

Discover - Led by the Holy Spirit, the group will study the Bible together and ask the 4 Questions. The goal is to teach the head.

Nurture - Led by the Holy Spirit, the group will nurture one another with the truths of the gospel leading toward heart transformation. The goal is to shepherd and care for the heart. 

Act - Led by the Holy Spirit, the group will listen to Jesus and obey his voice as he calls us to repent and bear fruit in our lives. The goal is to empower the hands and hold each other accountable.

The ultimate purpose of a DNA Group is to help one another discover Jesus in the Scriptures, nurture the truths of the gospel in our hearts, and faithfully act on what the Spirit calls us to do, so that we can grow to become more like Jesus. 

You can be in DNA Group with anyone, but ideally, your DNA Group will flow out of your Community Group.
